As our new Technical Artist on The Settlers, you will have a clear focus on in-engine work. Furthermore, you will be assisting in developing, supporting and documenting our art pipeline with utilizing tooling and scripting techniques.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Understanding of Art/Animation/UI pipelines for game engines

  • Good knowledge of Maya, and/or MotionBuilder, 3DMax (Photoshop, Substance Designer, Houdini is a plus)
  • Knowledge of node graph based development (like Unreal)

  • Work closely with the lead artist understand the overall game vision and quality goals

As an environment architect, a visual storyteller, and an experience maker wrapped into one, you assemble and position key elements to deliver impactful visual moments and enhance the player experience. Whether from a building or a prop, the assets that you carefully place tell a story, evoke an atmosphere and a mood. You know how to modify lighting, play around with composition, and add just the right amount of detail to develop a game space with plenty of personality.

Information on Internships

We are offering academic internships for students. These paid, full-time internships last six months and will include students directly in our project teams and departments. We are offering valuable hands-on experience on the job as you actively contribute to the success of our projects. You can find current vacancies for internships in the job list further up on this page.

Please note that we do not accept any speculative applications for internships apart from these vacancies. Kindly understand that we are unable to offer internship programs aimed at pupils and kids.
